The Ministry's plan for the Turcot involves expropriations not only of residences, but of artists' studios in Côte St-Paul as well.

The Sud-Ouest borough maintains an vehicle depot near the Turcot interchange which will be displaced by the Ministry of Transport's plan. To relocate this facility, the Sud-Ouest borough has decided to expropriate a building used by artists and artisans, rather than a gas station belonging to Esso!
